Hi everyone, I recently notice one of my sparrow rasboras becoming very skinny.

Around 1-2 have similar problem and has passed away with their remains partially missing. It is very weird as the fishes I keep in the tank are just neon tetras and same species, no crabs, shrimps etc.... Could it be a disease? Anyone has seen similar cases before?

In case anyone is wondering, I feed them twice per day with this amount of food:

Thanks for ur replies in advance

The super skinny ones are usually afflicted with an internal bacteria or parasite disease. By this stage, they will often die shortly so there isn't much you can do.

Fishes that have died for a while can be bitten and nipped by the other fishes, which could explain their missing parts.

Its best to separate them from your other fishes to reduce the possibility any disease spreading.

It's a bit late to save it now but next time if you notice certain fish arent eating you can quarantine them and try using parzi gold to treat.
