Any idea if they carry it in Japan? Am currently there, wouldn't mind helping you pick up one if I happen to be at one of the LFS in Tokyo area next week. :P

Thanks Filet, I utmostly appreciate the many dosages of cats. If you are a lover I would deeply recommend the cat museum at bras basar, very unlike the experiences I've read of cat cafes.

I preferred the old up inline diffuser model , it still ok for the past 2 years. I bought the new model, but it turned to leaking after I disassembled them

I think it all depends on the extent of the damage - if the threads (being plastic) have minor degradation over time, the Teflon tape might help. If the degradation is major (ie plastic starts crumbling), I'm hazarding a guess that tape won't help that much.

Im using this intense in-line as well but there is this fizzzzing sound when its in operation (ever since Day 1 of operation). Ive tried to run bubble water all over the diffuser for leak detection but there was none at all. Do you guys experienced the same thing? Is something wrong with mine?

I did have the same fizzing sound but not from my UP brand but from my Intense brand. I did the soap water test and all was fine. Even today, when I use it, I still get that sound.
I have 2 intense and 1 UP and another UP which I broke. Of all the 4 pcs, only this particular diffuser makes that sound.

P.S. When you do the soap water test, get a small spray bottle (maybe something similar to those used at hair saloons). Spray on the connections and spot the leaks if any with a bright torch light. It really helped me.

Is the fizzing sound normal due to the pressure that needs to force the tiny co2 out of the ceramic? I am using the glass inline type with glass ceramic co2 diffuser in it. When the co2 is on I can hear the fizzing sound, too.
