Some quesitons on filter

Hi all. I am a newbie to this planted tank hobby. I need to ask some questions on fitting all those tubing from my Atman 3336 filter.

Which is better. The spray bar(the bar which got alot of holes on it) or just point the outlet water directly down the tank. If using a spray bar, what is the direction i need to point. I heard surface agitation cos CO2 loss.

minimize surface agitation in planted tanks. so spray bar is out.

on the other hand, I'm using the eheim installation set . my spray bar is vertical in the water ...

Either way is allright. A spray bar allows for better circulation of water. Submerge the spray bar in the water so it doesn't splash down on the water.
