closer look , it looks like the bighead carp (Hypophthalmichthys nobilis) I might be wrong though just looking at its shape reminds me of this fish
I guess Corydoras hastatus is expensive because its hard to come by as it is seasonal. Besides it is best if you buy a school of them as they are closely bonded schooling fish. always amaze to see them swimming together
Corydoras hastatus is one of the most interesting fishes I ever see, unlike most of the corys, they can be bottom feeder, mid feeder and even top feeder. They are hard to come by and currently a few brings and only green chapter consistently brings in and at cheaper price. They school tightly and they are gentle with shrimps....
