Yes. Sharp eyes. There are chocolate and samurai gourami and coral purple pencil fish. Remove the rummy nose and emperor blue tetra which used to be in the same tank as they kept snatching food from the slow gourami.
The foreground plant is Japanese hair grass (curls downwards) not those mini from tropica 1-2 grow.

Haha, i want to remove running nose, but they just swim too fast. After i give up catching that. By the way, your skimmer is OF brand? Like UA's thread review? Skimmer is to clear off the top layer oily or algae one right?

Nice samurai, mine from 8 samurai all dead.. left the last one standing. Just curious what is your PH level?

Yes. OF surf skimmer. I switch it on over night only though. It will remove the oil layer and sometimes smaller dead leaves. Very effective with oil layer because before having this, by the second day after water change my water surface is almost dead still trapping CO2 underneath due to the layer of oil. No such issue now. Don't think it remove algae.

I like your scape, will be even great to see the depth by the time floating plants cover the full area. Your strong LED should still reach the plants. Dark Skimmer kind of stands out taking away the focus which should be the fish or nice plants.

Ya. My light is too strong for my plants albeit extending the light to the max on the stand. The floating plants were there for the purpose of shielding part of the light. They are multiplying fast. Should be able to cover the top soon. It can serve the purpose of letting the gourami to take shelter from the harsh lights. So far the tank plants are still doing well. Will monitor closely.

As for the skimmer, I do agree that it is standing out like a sore thumb in my tank. I am keeping the heights of the plants to stay low by choice of plants therefore there is no place to hide it from the setup. I thought low and petite plants will make the tank looks bigger. I wanted to try the inlet with skimmer feature but from the feedback I gathered so far, they either do not serve their purpose or the elbow length is extended too much.

I felt it a bit flat. All your plants are bushy so would be nice with a big piece of wood or rock

Ya. That has always been in my mind. However, I cannot seem to find a nice branchy bogwood. Not really wanted to put it as a centre piece but either stretches from the right or the left to the middle. Sort of regretted for not getting a bigger size rock at the right side. Overestimated the height of the right rock when I first got it. However, it will be messy if I will to replace it now.
