Has anyone tried the new chiller from Teco? I'm curious if it could accept the external temperature probe modification.

I'm using TK150 currently. Sorry as my chiller experience is limited to a TEM chiller and this current one. May I ask why do you need to fix an external probe? Based on the temperature reading of the TK150, I find it accurate based off the readings of my non digital liquid thermometer. Also the TK150 has the option to calibrate if required.

BFG go for haliea Hs series. Quite silent compare to my old HC series. Most importantly haliea is affordable.

But how is the efficiency of the chiller? Also how much more electrical bill you need to pay with chiller for every month?

New equipment, I wanted to try and compare against my Mitsubishi compressor chiller.

Do you experienced the dreaded stop start phenomenon? What pump is your chiller paired up with? Are you able to measure the temperature of the hot air coming out from the chiller? Is it noisy while on operation?

No, I don't encounter the stop and start phenomenon. I run my filter outlet to the chiller direct after an inline co2 diffuser. It's the Totto S type which is rated at 5.5l/min, but I think the flowrate has somewhat been impaired when comparing the flow visually now vs when first bought. Temperature of hot air is 38 degrees. Probably warmer as my place is pretty windy. Yes noisy as an aquarium fan.
