You can also get Coral Reds at Green Chapter too, they have a whole tank full of them... i think also around that pricing. Very bright red.
They also have the Coral Purple variants too.

I think it should be a pair at $16. If per fish then price is high.

PlantLog Garden Cryptocoryne, Bucephalandra .....
I would rather get at Green Chapter then, knowing that living conditions for the livestock is superior to C328.
C328 mentioned $16 to me even though I enquired: You have only one?
Hi people,
these two types of pencil fishes (purple and red) is aggressive to their male counterpart. they will fight. just keep to two specimen (male and female) to every 2 feet tank. make sure the tank is dense with plants that allow fishes to break line of sight.
i had experience of flying red aeroplane pencilfish that resemble dried shrimp from the dried store, keep them in school do not work out too, and many many other experiences

Sharing is Caring
I am avoiding dried fish! by telling myself to forget it after reading hobbyists' comments of their short lifespan and low survival rate (50/50).
Note: even when kept as a pair (male and female), they are known to fight.
Gc CR pencilfish slightly expensive den c328.. Have ready stock..
Is it true these red coral pencil fish must be kept with tank cover as they are know to jump? Any hobbyists keeping them now can share your experience and provide some tips for keeping them?

My very first male red pencil jumped to his death. I paid $20.00 for that from Gan Aquarium. It was 2003
