I'm looking to try a new brand of fish food for my Ember Tetras other than the usual Hikari Micro pellets that I've been using for years. Any recommendations?

The most important consideration is whether the pellets size is comfortable for the fish to ingest.
Fish food are pretty well formulated these days and there's little difference between brands.
However, it's good to study the the recipe or ingredients list to get a better appreciation.

For bigger fish, many hobbyists make their own fish food.
