Maybe can consider cutting away or shortening the single straight branch that is sticking out, flip it around and position it so that the twisty branches are pointing outwards instead, then add plants around it... that would help create the popular "branchy wood nestled in plants" style in your aquascape layout.

ive tought of that initially, but decided to do a tree root rather than a tree. currently looking around for some nice rocks to go with the roots before adding in soil and start dsm
