    Hey!! i need help.. my cardinal tetras have this white flap thingy on their gills... they look gross.... i've taken those with the white thingy out of my tank into another tank(treatment).

    i lightly salted my planted tank and the treatment tank
    anyone knows what those thingy ahz???

    anything else i need to do to prevent the spread of the white thingy.... or any fish websites to refer to for help??

    I think it is white spot. You have a picture? Helps alot.

    Try adding a heater. Crank the temp to 32 deg/C and no more. Three days, they should go away..

    doesn't sound like white spots, are these white thingy on the body like white pepper dots? might be some other dieases
