Yeah, the ones in your soil do look like BGA... i guess if the ones coating your tank glass are of a similar color and texture, then should be the same too.

what i did when i had it at the corner of my tank underneath the sand,i ejected it with excel in the sand , the whole lot dissapear.

Are you referring to that api or bluexit?

That api is not bad but expensive. A box at $20
