Hello everyone, started 1yr ago as my son wanted to keep fishes. Now I'm hooked and finally decided to invest in this. Working on a 10litre nano tank due to space constraint. Looking for advice from experts here and if there is any regular meeting for hobbyist, I'm keen to join.

My best advice is for you to learn about bacteria. This is because bacteria is the 'engine' of a fish tank.
Previously, I had kept all sorts of fish but usually ended up disappointed and consequently had to store my fish tanks upside down in the storeroom.

But since I started learning about bacteria, they have become the most important items in my fish-keeping hobby and I
treat them with the utmost care and 'respect'. Without thriving bacteria, our fish will die or become sick soon as water will foul.
There's actually a lot to learn because it is not a matter of just buying fish. It is about keeping the same fish healthy and happy for years.
LIFE IS UNBEARABLE WITHOUT A FISH TANK!!!

I am not sure if there is any meetings, but one way is to go some of the fish shops
during quieter business times and ask them a few queries. Highly recommend
shops like Fishy Business and Green Chapter due to the friendly staff.

Be systematic in your planning, when things do not go to what you expect,
be calm and research it and change your setup slightly. Monitor and iterate.

Borrow aquatic books in the library, they give a coherent view and are well written. Once you
confident with your knowledge, then dive into the noisy world of the internet to widen
    your knowledge.
