very nicely done. How is the calculation done? to be sure that the cabinet can withstand the load?
My second IKEA DIY project for a new tank i'm setting up.

This time I also use an IKEA cloth hanging stand as light hanging stand.
very nicely done. How is the calculation done? to be sure that the cabinet can withstand the load?
I noticed that the weight is distributed only on 4 legs. Can the legs withstand the weight?
Even when tank is acrylic, the solid wood "skeleton" reinforcement will prevent the cabinet from bending when the tank's bottom center tries to bend due to water weight, thereby preventing the tank bottom itself from bending (or bowing). This reinforcement's mechanism then redistributes the weight from the top to bottom corners of the cabinet into the 4 stands. Now the only way for the stand to give in is when there's too much weight forcing its physical structure to break. Ain't going to happen. We are nowhere putting several tons here. maximum weight I estimate the cabinet needs to hold is at 200kg (soil, water, rocks). the tank volume is 125L.
Really good DIY but I wouldn't dare do it because if the IKEA cabinet goes......
