Hi, I've got into this hobby by accident. My kids went for longkang fishing, caught some fish and I started to build a simple tank to make them comfortable. It has since evolved to several Neon Tetras, Ramshorn, RCS and Pleco now.

Currently interested in buying a glass tank instead of the plastic ones from the market with green plastic lid. The goal is to have a tank with the current inhabitants and low tech plants for the RCS to hide. I notice some Tetras bullying on the RCS.

Fish-keeping is very interesting. People miss a lot if they do not keep fish.
LIFE IS UNBEARABLE WITHOUT A FISH TANK!!!

Hi welcome to AQ! Having a goal is a great start to fishkeeping. How big a tank do you plan on getting?

I started out with a 36cm, then a 20 cube, then now a 3 feet. Currently itching for 4 or 5 feet tank haha.

Perhaps you should get the largest tank you can afford?
