Threadfin Rainbowfish cant eat shrimplets?

Is it true that threadfin rainbowfish cannot eat shrimplets due to their narrow throat?

I would like to add mid-range swimming fish into my shrimp breeding tank.

Also, will pygmy cory eat shrimplets?

Both can eat newborn shrimplets if they get the opportunity to catch them (you'll understand when you see the super tiny size of an actual newborn shrimplets)... though juvenile and adult shrimps would be relatively safe with those fishes.
