i think it's a translated version of a German book and just published last month in the US. anybody saw it here? should be better than any other book with 1000+ [:0] pages! think it's retailing for US$50.

me looking for this book too.. but I dun think its available in SIN. I read in SASG mailing list that there is a new book all on apisto and dwarf cichlid but its in german, some guys requesting it to be translated into english

yeah. i was reading that mailing list too when i saw the recommendations for this book. maybe we can order online or something?
the new book supposedly coming out early April right? but i think translating it will take years!

hi benetay. i think it's quite a good buy though. for a 1300plus page book with 1400+ photos... i think it must be better than the "South American Dwarf Cichlids" book which has not much info to read about. moreover i read some good comments on that book in the mailing list.

here's a reply i got from roemer:

The lowest postage for one book I can get is 23,50 US$, if You take 3 to
4 books it will be arround 48 US$ (one book weights arround 1,45
kilograms).
If You would take a whole packing unit (12 books) it would be about 65
US$, which of course is defenitely a much better relative price for
that. In addition we could offer You the better price for collect book
orders of 47,43 instead of the regular price of 55,80 for aquarium club
members or 69,80 for regular customers (non club members). If You are an
aquarium club member, send an adequate proof.

works out to be around S$150 for each book (if we are offered aquarium club member price). so how.. are you guys still interested?
