Disposable CO2 - Paintball?

Hi,

I'm currently using this kind of disposable CO2 set from ISTA. Is this considered the paintball type?

Assuming if I am to get a 1/2 litre or even 1 litre aluminium CO2 tank, am I able to reuse the regulator and solenoid? Any danger/issues?

Does Bioplast provide service to refill this kind of tank, even at 1/2 litre? Due to space constraint, 1 litre tank may even be an issue.

The disposable Co2 cartridge in that package are the thin neck versions, they only fit that particular solenoid regulator (its designed to be used only with those disposable Co2 cartridges).

If you get a larger 1/2 or 1 liter aluminum Co2 tank, you'll need to get a standard sized solenoid regulator to fit on it.

Places like Bioplast do refill small 1/2 liter Co2 tanks too, though the cost to refill may not be much different from a 1L or 2L tank (you'll have to check with them) so it just might not be as cost effective.
