Yeah, the larger bottle on the right is the old formulation (hence older labels and dosage recommendations), the smaller bottle is the new formulation, get that instead.
is the powder form really more worth it that liquid one?
Sorry i am confuse, is Prime and Safe same product same range?
Ditto as bro Dscheng above. What's the difference between Safe and Prime? I'm using Prime at the moment, should I change? Is it safe to?
Safe is like the dry powdered version of Prime, it is definitely more cost effective especially for larger tanks (though for smaller tanks it can be abit tough to measure the small dosages)... they both do the same jobs of neutralizing chlorine and chloramines, and detoxifying ammonia for a period of time.
The main difference is Safe does not detoxify heavy metals and doesn't encourage the protective slime coat on fishes, as those compounds are not available in dry form. So its a trade-off.
Here are some info on their differences: http://www.seachem.com/support/forum...ead.php?t=7131
Oh i see, in that case, i still stick with the PRIME.
Thanks UA, so it seems the safer choice ironically is not Safe. Heh.
Prime burn our 'pocket' deeper than safe, so i guess it's more 'pocket' safe like it's name

Wah I have the old big bottle of SAFE... Means need to use another product to remove heavy metals? Which is best for that?
