Hello Zai, i suggest before starting do a thorough read up on nitrogen cycle for marine tanks.

Also try to plan what type of life stock you intend to keep. For example fish only with live rock, soft coral or LPS. Try to start with easier soft coral before you plan about SPS if you intend to head into that direction.
