Sounds like nutrient deficiency... you need to dose more fertilizers.

Thank bro for yr advice.
u mean dose more liquid carbo and plant complete?

Noted and thanks bro.
So my led lights with 0.5w x 16 bulbs is good enough?
Initally I thought problems lies with my lights or my shrimps soil not suitable for my plants and tetra.

Yes my tank size is 1.5 ft (L) x 1ft (W) x 1ft (H).
Can get your opinon for my UPS shrimps soil, does this work well for my plants and fish(tetra and apisto)?
Or should I change to other soil as it never stated it contains any macro nutrients or trace elements.
The Up Aqua Shrimp Sand/Soil is mainly designed for keeping shrimps, so it doesn't contain any macro or micro nutrients for plants (just abit of buffering for lower pH and some beneficial minerals for shrimps).
That substrate is okay for shrimps and fishes (especially softwater species), but the lack of nutrients means for plants you will need to dose more fertilizers to supplement their nutrient requirements.
If you do want to focus on growing plants and aquascaping, it'll be better to use high quality nutrient-rich substrate designed for plants, like ADA Amazonia aquasoil, it makes growing plants much easier... but do note that such active soil release alot of ammonia initially to boost plant growth, so you have to make sure the tank is cycled beforehand before adding in livestock.

Thank for your helpful advice.
My plan is to grow some rizhome Plants like narrow leaf, nana petite and bolbitis. Livestock will be some tetra and apisto.
Hence,I actually pondering what substrate is best for my setup.

Thank you bro.
Any brands of fertilizer you recommend for my tank setup?
I guess you could continue using the EIHO brand fertilizers... but if you want to look at alternatives, can check out other fertilizer products from brands like Seachem, ADA, Tropica, BorneoWild, LushGro etc. I've tried those brands before and they can work well too. Its all a matter of dosing and observing the plant growth, then fine tuning the dosages to achieve a good balance between light, Co2 and nutrients.

Ok thank you bro.
anyway, can those areas where the leaves become a bit transparent turn back to it original colour or should I trim it off.

no it will not go back green after losing it..

Ok noted.
thanks bro "urban" & "flatearthling" for your useful advice and sharing.
Hope all these will benefit the rest of the bros who have the same encounter as me.
