Wait for it to settle down.
image.jpgRefer to pic. New tank new ada soil. Now this. What should i do?
water change or wait for dust to settle? And should i on my hob filter? All i know is that u dont wash the soil as instructed
Wait for it to settle down.
Ok i assume if i 'on' my filter it will cause more disturbance in the water yea?
How u refill the water? Normally not so cloudy on even new soil. You must on your filter in order to cycle your tank.
I pour in small bowl by small bowl. Cycling my tank not a problem i got water and bio media from cycled tank. Its how to get rid of the cloudyness. Was wondering if i on the filter to clear the sediments will help? Or just cause more disruption due to water movement
You just have to wait for the dirt to settle down,on you filter it help to speed clearing the partical but you have to clean the filter once it clear.
Yeah, pouring water directly into the tank with brand new ADA aquasoil, even if you are careful, will still cloud up the water. You have to really diffuse the flow with a plastic sheet/bowl or trickle drip the water in.
Anyways, the dust particles will settle over time, but the suspended fine particles will need to be manually removed with repeated water changes.
It'll be best to run the filter with white filter wool to trap all the fine particles (change the filter wool regularly when it becomes brown/black). Eventually the water will clear up.
Use those white filter wool, it will help to trap the particle
