    ISSUE:
Current tank cannot sustain ferns or moss. Any ferns or moss go in sure become black/brown.
Glosso, hair grass carpeting well. Crypts are doing fine too. But not moss and narrow ferns. Nana also will turn black over time too.

Have this issue for the past 2 years but no time to solve this issue of moss/ferns not surviving. Am tearing down the tank soon to restart.

I suspect is my lighting issue. Any other possible reasons?

Am contemplating to change my lightset to either odyssey quad(4x24w) T5HO or their 48W LED set to see if there's any improvements..

Very interesting. Thought should be the other way round. My ferns and moss wee growing very well even when I put them in a tub for about 2 months without chiller and fertilisers when my place was going through renovation. On the other hand my hair grass grown with proper lighting etc has never been dense....see yellowing on tips. I always think ferns and moss are very hardy plants.

That's y I find it super weird. I suspect it could be my lighting. Will anyone recommend 2x24w, 4x24w or beamswork 48W led ?
