    Great job.

For the non-DIY fellas, they sell something like that in 2 different sizes in LFS.

    Hi bros,

I think slowcat is meaning this (see below) for the non DIY people.
Likewise, anyone has done a DIY from clear PVC tube?

Yes, that is the one. Only 2 sizes apparently; M and L.

Note that it is specific in the instructions that the reactor must be upright.

whoops i didnt notice there was already a thread on DIY reactors, posted one in the fertilsation subthread....

got the green internal reactor at Y618 at $2.5 or $2 couldnt really remember....
first i seal it up with white thread seal tape, and then use sillicone to seal the cap joints.

Just curious, does more bioballs and the length of the reactor determines the better the way the CO2 are being dissolve?

more ball will trap more CO2 but then it will reduce the flow.

I do not think the bio-ball would help in dissolving the co2. The water spinning in the co2 reactor would absorb the co2 into the water column.

I have used to use a protein skimmer that's pressure sealed to inject the co2. it worked well but it's crumble-some. of course, not forgetting the additional costs of electricity that's required to drive the pump.

will the cost be much of a difference as compared to a sera or a ista max mix?
