My Accidental Tank

Sometimes not not thinking about it turns out just fine!!

This is actually my old 4 ft tank. About a year ago, I started reducing the number of tanks I keep. So I had lots of extra plants, stones, sand etc. Most of the plants were ferns and mosses tied to wood, and I couldn't bear to throw them away. So I let them accumulate in the tank, adjusting their position bit by bit over time. It's mostly modular set up, so was easy and not to disruptive to the few plants actually planted into the substrate.

And that's the result now. Other than water change and the odd trim once in a long while, it's practically zero maintainence.

And to think that I was asking around if anyone wanted the whole setup FOC!! Tank, stand, chiller, filter and lights. As well as plants, sand and fishes!!
