Hi fellow guru, can someone tell me what is this growing on all my japanese hair grass?
Currently into 8th day of cycling with a temperature of 26c and substrate is ADA amazonia with power sand. Water change of 50% done since day two till now.
Appreciate if anyone can tell me how to get rid of it.

Since the hairgrass was newly added, parts of it are likely melting as it goes through a transition period.... so that would usually just be mold/fungus or algae growing on the melting parts. Try to manually remove as much of it as possible and trim away the melted parts (the parts of hairgrass that have already turned pale or white). Eventually new runners and fresh green hairgrass should grow out again.

Once your tank is fully cycled, add in a group of shrimps as they will help clear it up too.

As usual thanks for your valuable advise UA. But when I tried siphon the mold away, I noticed it's like kinda sticky.
So do you think is it Ok of I just cut them all away and the hairgrass will grow back? As in cut till left those roots inside substrate.

Yes, you can just trim all the hairgrass short and they will grow out again... actually thats what many aquascapers do when they plant hairgrass, trimming newly added hairgrass helps to encourage fresh new growth.
