It most likely hairgrass pearling. I reckon they are using a co2 reactor or inline atomizer to avoid the unsightly co2 diffuser. Goggle co2 reactor for more information.
Hi there, been a long time since i stop aquarium.. Thinking of coming back to do a planted tank.
Happened to passby an aquarium shop and went in to take a look.. I have noticed the planted tank is quite unique. I couldn't find CO2 atomizer but i can see CO2 bubbling through the soil gracefully.
Does anyone know what method is this? Or what keyword should i search on internet? I tried but couldn't find any information on this.
Hope that I am lucky enough that anyone can enlighten me.

Yeah, the bubbles you see rising up are oxygen bubbles via pearling from the plants.
If you click the "show more" in the youtube video description, there is a part of it which states... "Pressurized CO2 through inline atomic diffuser...".
