Hi guys, just a quick question. Can i use only ANS ceramic bacteria house + filter pad in canister filter? e.g. bottom 2 tray with larger bacteria house, top 2 tray with mini bacteria house, arrange properly, no stacking only 1 layer each tray. Filter pad at top layer only. I didn't fill up the whole tray with bacteria house, afraid that it affect the flow too much. No other media added also.

Mainly planted with tetra or other small fishes, bio load wouldn't be very heavy.

Besides, found that the bacteria house a little bit powdery even after wash. Will it be OK to use?

    Thanks in advance.
