We are an Aquascaping business in Singapore specialise in non CO2 tanks. Low tech and aquarium supplies like led lights and filters.
Tanks with right combination of tropical fishes and Betta Tank set up with Betta conditioner and heater specially for Betta fish to avoid fin rot.


Lots of newbies approach us enquiring can they keep Betta fish with neon tetras???

Mixing neon tetras with bettas is a gamble. Some co-exist fine, while others have problems. Though neons are usually peaceful, flowing fins may be too much of a temptation to resist. It really depends on the individual temperment of the betta, but they may go after the neons because of their bright colors. You can try if you like, but if the care giver isn't experienced or you don't have back up plans, I'd try substitutind different fish. A female betta would greatly reduce the risk of aggression.

Female Bettas are not attractive like the male Bettas.

1) Please use Aquarium salt for any kind of fin rot suffered by the Betta fish. Betta's water at least 20% can be changed every 2-3 days if kept inside a jar or a bowl.

Do your fish's fins appear damaged?
Are your fish's fins...
Ripped looking?
Bright red at the tips or around tears?
Dull and grey or brown/black, and not part of their natural coloring?
Fuzzy at the tips or around injuries?
Beginning or already receding towards the fish's body? Frayed or tattered looking?

If you are a starter for betta breeding, start by breeding the same tail type.
