Just to share a 2 x 80mm fan that i had customised earlier for a 2ft planted. Fans were savaged from an old PC while i managed to find some excess plastic trucking around my house, hence only had to purchase the AC/DC adapter.

Able to keep my temp in the range of 25-28 degrees C.

Still room for improvement as i have always been comtemplating adding screws to the bottom of the trucking so that the fan would be tilted at an angle of 45 degrees to the water surface.

But since i'm lazy by nature and the temp range is within the acceptable one. Mebbe that could wait till sometime later.

Make sure that it is stable and sturdy when it's at a 45 Degrees angle to prevent any incident.

position the fan at 45degrees allows more area coverage, but more evaporation. You can also consider at a 90 degrees angle blowing through the gap between the lights and the water surface, primarily, the reason is to remove warm/hot air between the gaps which is the major reason why the tank is warm.
