    Will you guys recommend beef heart for wild discus? Haha... I saw those frozen kind before, will it work?

    I start feeding my discus with frozen beef heart, as long as they finished it off within seconds should not see much mess. Actually they really love this and no interest on pellets no matter how I train...

    Got this pair for two weeks , not eating and so timid keep hiding. No choice brought beef heart today, and even manage to handfeed them haiz

    I have other fish in the tank that can eat pellets so I can just keep throwing in the pellets without having to remove the uneaten ones. When the discus see that other fish are eating and they are really hungry, they will start by tasting it and accepting eventually. Mine take about a few days to 2 weeks for all to accept the pellets. Tetrabits and Hikari Discus granules seem to work well.

    Good to hear that they are eating!!! Maybe if you keep doing this they will eventually become less timid and come out more often
