Since the moss was only recently bought and introduced into the tank, its normal to see it melt abit... some of the melting parts could just be damaged fronds or older emersed growth.

Eventually once the moss adapts to the new tank environment, new submersed growth will replace it, christmas moss grows quite fast and is relatively easy to keep.

Once your tank is fully cycled and you add in the shrimps, they will also help consume and clear the melting moss bits too... thats one of the reasons why aquarists like to utilize shrimps as clean-up crew.

All plants need some time to adopt in a new environment, give it some time. But personally never had good experience with christmas at 27 to 29 degree did not grow well, not light green. Maybe you have better luck if not just switch to weeping or java.
