I think a members' gallery for their own pictures will be a good idea.

Dear valued members,
The recent changes in Aquatic Quotient is part of our commitment to provide a conducive environment for our members to foster quality interaction. This forum software upgrade is only the first part of many good things to come. As we reinvent ourselves, we want to make sure that the upgrades and enhancements we are going to put in place will be useful.
As such, we would like to hear suggestions, feedbacks or comments on what you would like to see on the new Aquatic Quotient.
Together, let's make Aquatic Quotient your portal to the pursuit of the Natural Aquarium!
Best regards

I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
That is already in the planning stage.
A spelling checker

The titles have been changed to Junior, Regular and Veteran for now, because I've enabled ranking which shows your rank (member, moderator, etc) in the forum. We're considering allowing users to set their own titles.
So far we've been reluctant to implement post count related titles so as NOT to encourage post count err... whats the word... stacking?
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.

Can the editing post timing be extended. Especially for a sales thread where we would like to update the first post regarding the items being sold/reserve.

Simon, is the site fully migrated?
Seems that typing www.aquaticquotient.com leads me to www.GoDaddy.com.
Only when I add /forum to the above link do I get to the forums. And by the way the address is automatically switched to aqroot.bennyng.net/forum.
I've use Opera 7.54 browser. But on IE6 is ok. Might try on Firefox. I'm using a dial-up modem and IE6 seems too slow.
For your advice, thks.

The website is still being migrated.
When did you type in http://www.aquaticquotient.com and get goDaddy.com? That happened when we switched DNS servers just before we launched the forum. It should not be happening now.
For the forum, please use a trailing slash... ie. http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum/ (not http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum). It will then stay at the AQ URL. I'm still trying to find out how to prevent the redirection when you leave out the trailing slash.
Remember to update you bookmarks so that they have trailing slash.

I second that. Titles shld not be tag to the quantity of posts one made but more to the quality of his/her posts. One can have 1000 posts such as "Hey, u got PM", "I agree", "Cheers dud" while some would have only made 100 posts but all with good advice and information which is beneficial to all who read it.Originally Posted by vinz
IMO, Titles should be conferred to a member only by the Admin/Mod based on the value-add of that member to this forum.
Just my 1.5cts comments.
i can't seem to find the old stickies in the sub-forums anymore. have they been moved?
btw, great job mods on the switch
