Opps. I mean to ask about JBL Ferropol.
Hi,
Would like some recommendations for liquid fertilizers. I'm considering JBL pro-Flora and Seachem's Flourish range. Dennerle seems very expensive.
I'm also using JBL substrate fert and Root-monster.
JBL Pro-Flora label instructions are causing me some confusion. It's suppose to be weekly dosing, but states that it can also be used for daily dosing. I'm concern about the iron levels as iron is suppose stay in plant-usable state for only 24 hours. But if I dose daily, I'm concerned about overdosing of the other elements. Anyone using JBL can share their experience?
Thanks.

daily dosing means dividing up the weekly does by 7 . I believe.
I use Flourish. Quite satisfied with it. I have compared the formulation and found Flourish contains the widest range of trace elements. But it lacked Potassium(K). I use K2SO4 solution to supplement it.

bclee, where did u get your Flourish? I have looking high & low for it.
vinz,
lou is correct.....in fact it is actually better if it is done daily....dumping liquid fert in for one whole week...i think is a waste as alot of the elements will be oxidised before the plants can use them......

SeaChem Flourish can get from Petmart and Superstar Aquarium at Pasir Ris. $12 i think.
I bought mine form petmart.
I also discover that all the Flourish bottles are "sucked in". Looks like the contents contracted or something. Same observations from you guys?

What about Tropica Master Grow ? How does it compare with the rest ?
I use JBL ferropol and use it about 2 or 3 times a week 1 cap each time for my 80 L tank. so far the results were really quite good, have to trim plants at least twice a week. and there's no increase in algae at all despite my heavy usage. (supposed to be 2 caps per week only)
I have never used TMG. I can only compare by the published contents.

guys,
I can't find FLOURISH by Seachem too. Only Potassium, Iron, Carbon available at Petmart. Confirm!

look properly. i saw a lot of bottles last week. don't be fooled by the "non-fertilizer water conditioner" crap printed on the bottle. you can read more about the reasons behind it at Link. near the bottom.
Saw a few bottles of Flourish on Tuesday at Petmart.
