K is the lighting intensity or something right..... is it better to use 10000K or 6500K.... 10000K is more blue if i'm not wrong and 6500 K is more white.... so use 6500 or 10000 better... i read somewhere in this forum or AF saying 10000 will reduce algae growth or something?? is that true or myth....
plants absorb from a range of spectrum. 10000k is indeed bluish, 6500k should be on the warm side. I would say, use 6500k range. Is there a link that state that using 10000k reduce algae?![]()
got.... read it a while ago about a month or so....
either in this forum or arofanatics....
got read before... that's why i ask....
I only believe a well-balanced planted tank will reduce algae, not from the use of a certain light tube. But you can experiment and let us know the result. I think many people really want to know the truth
