It's a species of Toadfish, several species from that family are known to live in freshwater. Two of the species found in the trade are Batrachomoeus trispinosus and Allenbatrachus grunniens; however, both of them are more suited for brackish water and marine environments in the long term.
Small is beautiful.
Although canivorous, it doesn't seems to hunt for it's food. Just lay there and wait for unsuspecting fish to swim to/near its mouth.
Kinda worrying because I don't have so much live food for it to sit and wait.
You could try frozen bloodworm and live adult brine shrimp. If your guppies are breeding, this is also one way to get rid of unwanted fry...
Once it gets larger, you can try offering glass shrimp or guppies sold as feeders, although these should ideally be quarantined and fed properly for some time before being offered to a predator.
