Alright so I made a mistake in not quarantine a new plant and I've been having this pest snail issue.

Anyone ever resolved this issue before?

Try adding a puffer or a clown loach. They will eat up the snails. The clown loach can do a quicker job but will be difficult to remove from the tank as it swims very very fast. I had a 2Ft tank infested with snails cleaned up by 2 clown loaches in one night

Assassin snails can help, but I think it is not effective on fresh water limpets...I'm having limpets issue too...they are annoying tiny little transparent creatures

You need to give them time to hunt and eat. Look for emptied snail shells.
