    your llight should be ok.. maybe show us a picture of your setup?

    I have MC striving for me with only room light and light from window . I have a 1 ft tank with 50W flood light and I have another with green element 2ft 3W each LED light.
    they are though plants once they stablised.

    Never tried MC, but I noticed HC spread better and faster after every trim. It's normal to be hesitant to trim during the initial phase, but sometimes it's better to just trim away and leave those rooted to recover. They usually recover faster and stronger and spread better too.

    think you plant them too big clumps already...
    if possible plant strand by strand... thats what I did

    Agreed, I usually plant in very small clump because there are no way you can bury the roots in the substrate if the clumps are too big. Most often roots in the middle of the clumps will be denied of nutrients from the substrate. And will eventually rot and melt away.
