Hi all! Just moved back to Singapore after years in the states, and decided to pick up fish keeping

I've been doing fishless cycle on my 2ft tank (approx 60L?) for 2 weeks now, and it appears to have stabilized. Running a Eheim aquaball 2208 and a aquaclear 20 simultaneously.

Added 1x dwarf gourami today, planning to add 7 more Cardinal tetras in a week or 2 and call it a day.

Must admit, I'm a complete noob to this, and the only "experience" I have is from 2 months of googling and watching videos

I've been using this forum a ton for knowledge so figured I would drop by an say hi!

Ps. I'm looking to remove the big-leafed plant because apparently it's not submersible. If anyone has recommendation on easy low tech plants, pls fire away! Specifically looking for:
    - broad long leaf for back ground
    - short/low growing for fore ground. Doesn't need to be carpet

(Ok with rooted plants; I've preemptively stuck a few root monsters throughout my substrate)

Hi there TheKiwi, you can try Annubias as they have Big leaves and should be great for your aquarium.

Does this make sense: ~Imperfect Past equals future tense~

Oh look a reply! I'm assuming you are talking about what's commonly referred to as nanas? That's what I already have, a bunch of them tied to that wooden piece

Bought myself a nice Amazon sword the other day too!
