You can use rocks to hold the slope, which requires quite a bit of rock.
You can use these as well - drainage cells that you can buy at garden nurseries such as far east flora
To stack stones
They also help maintain the slopes

As i will be moving house soon, i need to tear down 2 tanks and migrate.
My thoughts "since i going to restart my failed iwagami, i might as well start 1 more proper iwagami in the living hall, 1 valley in my study room".
So i saw many guru here with many wonderful scapes. But im more on the safe side, in case my co go bankai and demand all tanks to be out of he house.
Currently, my iwagami i have ideas on the restart. But for the valley which i attached, how do u guys hold the sand together with the gradient slope?
Since im going for natural, my soil would be using gex soil for planted and what is the other sand i can get for a handful to get the sandy beach in the middle?
For the plants, can i mix mc at the front, rotala in the back infront of 1 rock? Just some thoughts before i go shopping.
This tank will be selective breeding of quality bloody mary from my iwagami.
Thanks

I'm sure the links work, but they are large so you might need to view them on the PC. These are the small sized images:

I saw video from YouTube than Mr. Takashi Amano is using polyester foam to stack up rocks in his scape. You can cut or form whatever shape you want to form your landscape.

Oh but is the foam we purchase from popular safe for aqua use? Or do i have to go lfs to get the foam?

I think should be safe as long as the rocks are heavy enough to sink it. A better choice would be recycling of the Styrofoam ice box. I used to use that as fish tank when I was still a student with no pocket money to buy aquarium. =)

Hahaha thank you. Would be taking that into consideration as well.
Just scare that it would slowly release poison into the water
