I'm planning on keeping german blue rams and apistogramma in a 55 gallon tank. Many of the articles online give different min-max temperatures for different types of plants. This tank will probably be kept around 82F since these fish require warmer waters.

What plants do well at that temperature? So far I've found anubias, dwarf sag, crypt wendtii and wisteria. Any other suggestions?

    Re: Warm Water Plants?

Most tropical plants should do. In fact, my tanks are usually at 29 Degrees Celsius. That's about 84 Degrees F. If you go to your LFS, you should see some tropical plants and then just pick those unless it specifically says for temperatures below 82F. Most plants should be fine.

    Cheers!

My nano tank 29 Degs. MC and Jap hairgrass carpet with CO2 0.5bps. Hairgrass may need more patience but once it aclimates to the tank condition can spread quite fast.
