Remove the dead fish and do a water change. In a small tank, things go wrong very fast.
I have 2 10 gal. freshwater tanks set up exactly the same. Caves, Undergravel filter + back filter and airbubbler. I clean 30% weekly, add salt and aquisol as a disease preventitive.
I have 5 neons and 1 panda cory in each - well, almost.
Friday I bought the 2 panda cories from a local pet store - which I should not have done. I don't trust these guys - or at least, had this confirmed to me now that I shouldn't. The one seemed fine, the other seemed lathargic - even in the bag while I acclimatized them. Both seemed small/young.
The one is in the tank and fine, the other seemed to hide. This was on a Friday. I stayed up watching the poor panada cory, certain he would die. I called the LPS asking for help, but they were now closed.
I HAD to go away Saturday for a wedding. I returned today (Monday morning) and there's no cory. I looked under a cave and YUCK - a fish head.
My question is this - what about the 5 Neons. Will this affect them in terms of health? What should I do? Please Help!

If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
Thanks for the advice. I've done a 30% water change and added salt. Hope that helps and there was no visible signs of disease on the incoming cory. Again, my thanks!
