    Wow, this cherry shrimp is so red !
    I guess it depends on the water quality and feeding.

    No fishes in its palace. But itas quite a fair bit of company. It passed away in after producing a gew nice generation of babies. Very active shirmps.

    And the off springs are not as red? Have you tried feeding Tetra's Color Enhance flakes?

    Generally, they say shrimps live to about a year or 1.5 years. I often encounter some die out prematurely, or even at their prime - prime colours. Conditions are optimal, still they die.

    I guess, it's saddening to say, good times don't last.
