Need advise on hailea 150a chiller

Hi all. Just got a second hand hailea 150a without knowing that the temperature controller has been removed by previous owner. But he's not to blame as he did mention about that and recommended a external controller. Just that i am a noob on chiller and thought it's just an advise and it will still work as external controller only for better adjustment of temperature but i am wrong. It wont even power up. =(

I will like to ask all expert in here where can i get this fixed and what will be the damage like?

Hi, most have the thermostat remove from the cooling chamber, but the thermostat is actually still attached but with a longer wire so that you can put it the tank for more accurate reading.

Normally for external controller, it's just an extension plug that have a thermostat. The extension plug will turn on when it's thermostat detect the temperature set which in therms will turn on the power of the chiller.

i have a strong feeling your chiller is not working. But I could be wrong.

call top dragon at 9146 5383, he will be able to fix it.

Hi, firstly thanks for the reply. Basically the temperature control device(picture below) is been disconnected. The display pocket is empty. Previous owner has claimed that it's still usable just need to get a temperature controller or replace using those external thermostat like Fox or STC. So with all the wires are still in there, am i possible to just get a budget thermostat to install on it?

I am not exactly sure about Hailea 150a but I have a HS-28a and HS-66a. From your pics, it seems the thermostat wire have being cut off. There are still other wires from the control module that controls the compressor and fan.

i heard Sim Lim tower do sell compatible thermostat but I am not exactly sure either. I think your best bet is to call Top Dragon.

Actually the connectors are still in it. is just been disconnected. The temperature control picture was took from the web for better explanation only.
