I have similar issue before (but not with ANS), infact just last night :P :P :P
Just switch off and remove the regulator from the canister, remove the solenoid which is actually very easier, using an Allen key or just turn and unscrew the solenoid. (Depends on the manufacturer of the regulator)
1) Dirt & Debris
You will find the solenoid is actually a very simple device, it have a piston and a coil spring. Check if there is some dirt that require cleaning.
2) Height of the piston to the regulator
The Cylindrical rod need to be able to extend itself when energize and it have a working distance to be able to function properly. One common problem is over tightening of the solenoid to the regulator or under tightening. So just trial and error and see if the by tightening and lossening of the solenoid helps. If it does, most probably, the thread are worned, just use a plumber white tape to wrap around the thread and tighten it again to the desirable height.
3) Solenoid Not working
After you take out the solenoid from the regulator and switch it on & off, if the piston does not even move, you have a spoil solenoid. Get a replacement. (when testing the solenoid please have something infront of the piston just incase the piston shoot out...lol)
Hope this helps
