How to stop adult angel fish fighting

Hi I have 5 angel fish that I got when I got my first fish tank but now one of them is bullying all the rest into a corner where the plants are. Is there anyway to stop such behavior and since its been a year since I have them. Will they be able to pair up? Thanks

Check carefully to see if there are any eggs on any part of the tank. I have noticed that after spawning, the male or the female can be extremely aggresive in protecting the eggs. They will not tolerate any other fish in the same tank. It will even bite your finger if you touch the water. Their eggs are hard to see and can be laid anywhere around the tank. But your case may or may not be due to spawning.

its normal for angelfish to establish their pecking order, the dominant one can be very aggressive especially when the tank is too small. If possible, do change up to a bigger tank. If not, remove the dominant fish.

Removing the dominant fish can only be a temporary solution, because before long, another one will take its place. One solution is to add more angels of nearly the same size. That will serve as some sort of distraction within a tank environment. You can try it out to find a good balance.

But paired angels can live harmoniously for a long time with each other as they grow in size.
