you have a gauge on the thing? if it reads zero and co2 stops coming out from your reactor/diffusor it's finished []
take out the regulator after shutting the main tank valve
you only need to bring the tank along for the refill
    where're you refilling it?

If you have a guage on your regulator, it should read about 1000psi when it still contain some liquid CO2. Once the liquid runs out, the pressure will rapidly drop from 1000psi to 0.

For me, I will send it for re-filling once it drop below 900psi.

On the spot refilling is not good. As what they do is to use a large cylinder and refill those that we bring to them. The CO2 in our cylinder is not liquid but gaseous state. It is like using our cylinder as a container for CO2. This method of refilling will not refill the cylinder optimally. It will run out very soon.

if you can you may bring it to soxal for refilling......i believe there is a soxal branch at AMK industrial park 2. it is easily access by AMK ave 3 towards serangoon north Ave one.......

The upside about bring it there is that they will inspect your cylinder prior to filling. The correct pressure is attained as well

I do 1 to 1 exchange with Superstar at Pasir Ris.

As for liquid or gaseous refill, check your gauge, if > 1000psi, then it is ok. Mine is usually about 1500psi after exchange.

bclee, is superstar inside NUTC resort? How much did they charge you for a 5L tank?

I have enquired and find a shop in Bedok Industrial park doing it for $23. Lead time is 2-3 working day but they do exchnage as well.

Yup, the one in now called Downtown East.

How big is 5L? They only carry a green type maybe 5L. If they have a filled one in stock, they will exchange on the spot. Cost for refill/exchange is $15.
