It depends on how concentrated the solution you're dosing with is. If you get the salts from Greenleaf aquarium; you'd have to mix the mixtures yourself (but there are calculators online to help)
Hi Gents,
I see there are different dosing regarding PPS-pro micro.
one dosage is 1ml solution per ten gallons
another dose is 0.1 ml or 2 drops per 10 gallons (source is from greenleaf aquarium)
any one can advise me please which dosage is correct??
Regards,
Lynn

thanks for feedback,
i have 2 bottles of 500ml for each solution.
for macro, I used CaNO3 - 33g
KH2PO4 - 3g
K2SO4 - 29g
MgSO4 - 20g
for micro, I used 40g of CSM+B
what I confused is about the micro dosing,, no idea how much i have to dose per liter.
If you mixed 40grams of CSM + B in 500ml of solution, 1ml of the solution will add 0.5ppm of iron to 10 litres of water. Depending on what's in the tank, you may want lower or higher iron levels. There is no fixed perfect ratio; a dutch style tank with tons of fast growing stem plants will have very different requirements from an iwagumi scape with just a carpet; and the inherent weakness of dosing systems such as pps-pro is that they are not tailored to individual tanks. In tanks with heavy stem plants usage, I dose 0.1ppm FE daily, while for slower growing, Iwagumi style scapes, I may do 10% of that... just 0.01ppm Fe. This is also dependent on the rest of the ferts keeping up as well.
To give you a better gauge
I dose 0.1ppm FE daily on this tank
About 0.02ppm Fe daily, (5 times less due to less light usage and light plant load)

Thanks alot Xiaozhuang, that's really great help for a noob like me. I have a lot of stem plants and the problem is they are growing tall very rapidly. is there a way to keep them low and look healthy and bushy just like plants in your photo
My tank is
50g
Beach sand substrate (I took from sembawang beach)
2x39W T5 lighting , 9 Hrs daily,
3L DIY CO2
for the root I use JBL balls.
Stem plants do require more frequently trimming than other plants, often it's enough to cut them off at a level you desire and plant the tips elsewhere,
