I recently thought of adding HC to my tank and one way I think to help it adapt to my tank is to do this thing.

Suggestions/comments for those who have/had experience growing/converting HC from emersed to immersed.

    Big thanks in advance..

    Re: HC emersed to immersed

Note that while floating HC like that can help it develop submersed "water" roots that can get nutrients from the water column... the leaves are still in emersed form. So when it is eventually submersed, the leaves and stems will still go through another transition phase from emersed to submersed conditions.

    Thanks UA for your inputs.

Most of the article I've read on how to grow/spread HC was thru DSM. I decided to try and experiment with this set up as I noticed it is submerged halfway.

Hoping it will yield good results.
