    Lighting Aqualighter running 8-10hrs
    Substrate ADA Africana soil
Plants are Amazon Sword plant, Anubias nana golden and 2 other species I cant id
Fert using Seachem Comprehensive 1ml daily
    Flourish Excel 1.2ml daily
    Non-co2 injection
    Aeration when lights are off

    Hi,

How old is your tank ?This could be N limited,Ada Africana is lack of nutrients too. Perhaps try root tab, and amazon may not like regular excel dose as far as i know.

    Re: Leaves turned yellow

Once mature green leaves start to show yellowing at their edges or parts of the leaves, those yellow areas will not turn back to green anymore, even if additional fertilizers and nutrients are replenished in the tank.

As part of regular plant maintenance, it'll be best to trim off those yellowing leaves, so that the plant can redirect the nutrients towards growing new healthy green leaves.

Note that Seachem Comprehensive is a water column fertilizer and while its sufficient for most plants, amazon sword plants do tend to require alot more nutrients to grow, and they are heavy root feeders. With your low-nutrient content Africana aquasoil, inserting high-nutrient root tabs around their roots instead might be more effective (like what milk_vanilla mentioned).

Thanks both, I understand that is best to either pluck the leaves off the stem or at least trim it near the base. But because of my planting is very near to each other and if I uproot the sword plant it will create a total mess in the substrate. Could I just trim the leaves away which is half way down the stem will that help or the lower part it will just rot n melt after trim?

Yeah, just use a long scissors and cut off the entire leaf stem as close to the base as possible. The small amount of leftover leaf stem will just rot away after some time.
