    could someone enlighten me on what is happening to my plants? java fern is black splotches and this plant has a spider web

    The plant with the spider web looks like it's decaying. I would remove it and throw it away immediately

    Think I had replied to you on this from your earlier post Java ferns are usually grown terrestrially in farms and now it's being grown immersed, it will shed off some terrestrial leaves, before showing growths. The browning is just a melting process of adjusting to a new environment. Cut off the brown leaves and new shoots should appear over time
